RANCHO BAHAMAS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS RESOLUTION

PARKING POLICY

Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Directors.

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it in the best interest of the Association to set forth the policies and practices of the Association in enforcing a sound parking policy to ensure the safety of our members and residents; and

WHEREAS, California Civil Section 1730 requires a statement as to these policies and practices be delivered to the Association’s members within (60) days prior to the beginning of the beginning of the next fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has fully discussed and considered the matter;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Association hereby adopts the following policies and practices in enforcing the parking policy:

1.Garage Parking:  Residents are to use the garage to house their vehicles.  Additional vehicles which are not parked in the garage are to be parked on the marked parking spaces at either end of the community or on the street at Via La Vida.  Garage doors must be kept closed except as necessary for entry or exit of vehicles or persons.

2.Guest parking will be strictly enforced.  A sign has been installed designating the parking area next to the mailboxes as Temporary Parking – For Guests Only.  Parking by residents is prohibited.  Vehicles identified as belonging to residents will be fined and towed at vehicle owner’s expense.

3.Marked Parking Spaces:  Parking spaces at either end of the community may be used for resident parking.  Vehicles may be parked in these spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.  These spaces are not to be used for storing vehicles.  Vehicles found to be stored for extended periods of time (more than 7 days) will be fined and towed.

4.Parking on the driveway (or apron of driveway) may be used temporarily for loading, unloading, or other necessity for a maximum of three (3) hours.  At no time is any part of the vehicle to encroach onto the street.  This is against Fire Dept regulations and the vehicle will be fined and towed.

5.It is in your best interest that you register your vehicles with Ralston Management for identification purposes.  Please contact Ralston Management with your name, address, phone#, license Plate#, make, model & color of your vehicles.

6.Violation of the above policy will result in the imposition of fines in accordance with the Association’s Compliance Assessment Policy or towed at vehicle owner’s expense, or both.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that within sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of each fiscal year, a copy of the policies and practices as hereinabove adopted or as may be subsequently modified and amended, shall be delivered to each of the member of the Association in the manner and pursuant to the requirements of California Civil Code Section 1730.
